Our client is a formulator, packager and marketer of automotive appearance and performance and maintenance chemical brands. Our client offers a comprehensive line of waxes, polishes, compounds, dressings, soaps, cleaners, solvents, paints and dyes, as well as fuel additives, parts cleaners, starting fluids, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and other performance and functional fluids. 

The company aims to be the number one in its market built on both an organic growth and a significant multi-faceted acquisition strategy, and aims to be a leader across all product categories within its core target segments including car wash, auto dealership, auto auction and professional detailer businesses. 

In order to achieve this vision, we have been retained to find certain key talent including the positions listed below.


WHAT – 2 Regional Business Managers (RBM).  These are significant and influential roles.  You will have a comprehensive existing network and supporting experiences serving, directly or indirectly, customers from sectors buying the above products.  One or more of …. car wash chains, auction houses, car dealerships, car wash manufacturers, gas stations and other B2B retail facilities, commercial transport, etc.  RBMs manage both distributor and direct relationships and are responsible for generating and closing new business, supporting existing customers through training, promotional programs and product knowledge, and managing regional profitability to corporate objectives.


WHERE – Each RBM will be responsible for a portion of the Western territory which covers the western provinces of Canada and extends south to Southern California, and includes adjacent states.


If you don’t live in these areas you must be willing to relocate AND have CURRENT experience managing some or all that geography.  Please don’t apply unless you meet these criteria.


WHO – We are looking for highly-motivated, well organized, proven sales people in the automotive appearance B2B sector or adjacent sectors (oil, auto body or collision repair, paint suppliers, etc.).  As a direct liaison with customers you can manage positive, respectful and professional communications to build trust and identify opportunity.  You possess excellent communication skills and are conscientious. You can manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and are proficient with computer productivity and analytical software (Word, Excel).  Importantly, you have a passion for the automotive appearance and performance chemicals industry. You are likely to be degree educated and a natural sales relationship builder with at least 7 years of relevant experience as listed below and demonstrable results.
