“Over the course of my career I've had the opportunity to deal with several recruiters. All seem pretty adept at finding you, reaching out, gauging interest, and collecting a resume. I've always invested the time to "tell me a little bit about yourself and what you're looking to do", to listen to them pitch their "opportunity", and to send them whatever they requested, yet I've never understood why 99% of them disappear at that point with no further communication and no feedback.
